Opened in 1960 and located away from downtown’s hustle & bustle in North Palm Springs, where E. Racquet Club Road meets N. Farrell Drive, The Monkey Tree is a classic mid-century gem that boasts 16 uniquely decorated period rooms with modern amenities surrounding a nicely landscaped central pool area.

Once a getaway spot for celebrity couples like Lucille Ball & Desi Arnaz, Katherine Hepburn & Spencer Tracy, and even Marilyn Monroe & John F. Kennedy (so they say), this place went through various incarnations over the years before it was restored and re-imagined in 2016 as a destination boutique hotel & spa for modernists who just want to get away from it all… like JFK & Marilyn!
