Museums and Galleries
A melding of movie set, vintage store and endless instagramable photo ops, this Modernism Museum is more of an immersive funhouse than a lifeless exhibition hall.
Designed and curated by artist Tracy Turco to celebrate the midcentury modern mainstream, this eclectic space is filled with time capsule artifacts your grandmother may have likely found commonplace. For a younger generation looking to experience the past, though, there may be no better place to learn about the cultural explosion of the 1950s, ‘60s and ‘70s.
The museum also serves as a community venue to gather, socialize and share a combined passion for the era.
Currently open on weekends, Fri., Sat., 11am-5pm, Sun., 12pm-5pm, admission is $10.00. Check their website for more information.
